Nate Nester

Nate Nester is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, class of 2003—and a Buckeye through and through. He began his career in real estate in 2007 by rehabbing homes and managing rental properties, gaining hands-on experience in property value, investing, and renovation long before earning his real estate license in 2012.

Since becoming licensed, Nate has built a thriving residential real estate business rooted in experience, market knowledge, and a passion for helping clients make confident decisions. Over the course of his career, he has helped more than 300 families achieve their goals of homeownership and real estate investing. His dedication and results have earned him numerous industry honors, including induction into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, along with membership in the Million, 5 Million, 10 Million, and 25 Million Dollar Clubs. Nate is also a Columbus Ambassador and an active member of both local and national real estate boards.

Nate believes real estate is about more than transactions—it’s about helping people build wealth, stability, and a place to truly call home. His background in investing and renovation allows him to guide clients through every stage of the process, whether they are buying their first home, upgrading to their next chapter, or growing a real estate portfolio.

Nate married his wife, Kristen, in 2010, and together they live in Galena, just outside of Columbus, with their two children and two Great Danes. Kristen is a talented photographer who owns Uncommon, a creative studio where she photographs families, lifestyle brands, and editorial work for magazines.

Family and community are at the center of the Nesters’ lives. Nate and Kristen are passionate about coaching youth sports and spend much of their time coaching travel baseball, softball, basketball, and football. When they’re not on the field, you’ll often find them traveling, attending events around Columbus, or spending time with family and friends.
